Worry is like sitting in a rocking chair…it gives you something to do but it gets you nowhere. On the other hand, worship will get you into the presence of God, where all of your needs are met.
Today, find some time to separate yourself from the distractions of life. Unplug from the activity and be still in the presence of God. Let Him renew and restore you so that you can be empowered by Him to move forward in strength and victory!
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10, NIV).
There’s a lifting in the presence of God. When we lift Him up, He lifts us up. There’s no higher calling than to worship Him!
Be encouraged that no matter what you’re going through, God is within you.
Just like the sun breaks through the night at dawn, His help and hope will rise above any situation or circumstance designed to keep us in darkness.
Every second of every hour of every day, God’s presence and power in our lives is available to us. He is not just with us, but within us. If we are filled with the Spirit of God, we may experience falls and set backs, but he is right there to pick us up and carry us through.
Tomorrow is not promised and I am committed to using every day I have to love and serve God, love others, love my family and use the gifts God gave me.
Thank you for being here and being a part of my community. You mean a lot to me and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the year! And I am SO glad we are sisters and brothers in Christ.
It took me time to grow into myself and feel confident as a woman of God. If you are going through a trial or something hard, God can use that circumstance for His glory and an even brighter future. I experienced it all and I came out stronger, and when I look back I see how God was working all along.
God’s ways are higher than our ways and He promises in the Bible, “God will do EXCEEDINGLY abundantly above and beyond, all that you can ask, think or imagine according to the power at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20.
If you are unsure of your future, trust in the goodness of God. I believe He has good things in store for you. He knows your desires and dreams. And when you place them in His hands, ALL things are possible for you.
We need God’s word. We need His word dwelling richly in us, because His Word is life and truth, and part of the truth is that we have so much to be thankful for, and we have so much to rejoice over.
You can pray in your heart, “God, I need Your help. Thank You for Your peace. I’m asking for Your strength.” When you do that, you take a drink. You bring God’s presence into your life. You strengthen your inner man.
