Powerful Message “Faith Opens the Door to God” By Joyce Meyer

“Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”  Luke 8:25

“For all the human history, we have been striving for one goal:  the spiritual reunification of mankind with God, the Devine Intelligence that lives within us.”

When we praise God and we’re thankful, it opens the door for the Holy Spirit to work really amazing things in our life. When fear knocks on your door send faith to answer, and no one will be there.

One of the most encouraging things to remember when you are suffering is that it won’t last forever. Injuries heal, disappointments turn into new dreams, and the end of one thing opens the door for the beginning of another.

Will you keep a good attitude when you’re doing the right thing but the wrong thing is happening? Will you be your best when you’re not getting the credit? Choose to stay passionate about life even when the door closes, or you don’t get the promotion. This is the real test of faith.

Don’t just pray for God to open doors, pray for God to close doors in your life that need to be closed.

Not every closed door is a bad thing. Sometimes we don’t want to stretch, to develop new skills or to step out into the unknown. We may not like it, but if God had not shut that door, we would have been satisfied to stay where we were. God has something bigger for you, He loves you too much to let you miss your destiny.

I like to say that prayer opens the door for God to work. As we partner with God in the spiritual realm through prayer, we bring things out of that realm into our lives, into our world, into our society, and into the lives of other people. These things that come from heaven, these gifts of God, are already stored up for us, but we will never have them unless we pray and ask God for them.

God doesn’t give all the details. He’s not going to give you a blueprint for your whole life. If you had all the facts, you wouldn’t need any faith. He’s going to send you out not knowing everything. If you’ll have the courage to step into the unknown, do what you know He’s asking you to do, then doors will open you could never have opened. The right people will show up. You’ll have the funds, the resources that you need.

There are doors that need to open for you to reach the fullness of your destiny, but you can’t open them in your own talent, your own ability. It’s going to take the favor of God.

We love the open doors. We know that’s God’s favor, but when God closes a door, it takes maturity to say, “I don’t understand it, but I’m not going to get bitter. I’m not going to fight it. God, I trust You.” Instead of thinking about what didn’t work out, trust Him. God knows what He’s doing.
