It’s Worth Waiting for God’s Miracle

“‘My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,’ says the LORD. ‘And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.’” – Isaiah 55:8 (NLT)

Have you ever faced a big challenge in your life? Something that couldn’t be solved without a miracle?

If you haven’t, you will. And when that time comes, you’ll have a choice. You can trust God’s time and method. You can also take matters into your own hands and attempt to perform a miracle on your own.

But the truth is that miracles don’t come from the places you expect them. And they don’t come as a result of your own effort. The source of a miracle is always unexpected.

You can be someone’s miracle today. You have something that others want, and you have the ability to influence people in ways that no one else can. Make an effort to connect with others. Watch how God will use you if you sow seeds of compassion, love, and mercy.

Someone needs what you have to offer. Those feelings of compassion are a way that God is speaking to you. He wants you to show someone kindness and affection. We are urged to follow love and allow it to lead us to the correct course of action. Compassion is a gift from God, and it has the ability to perform miracles.

Sometimes, we don’t necessarily feel like forgiving, but when we humbly obey God, He will work a miracle in our lives. Remember, there’s tremendous power in forgiveness.

Miracles always come in unexpected ways. So there’s no need to fret, fear, or try to figure it out.

Trust God and say, “I don’t know how God is going to do it but I know he will do it.”

Then simply obey and follow where God leads. And get ready for a miracle.

When you believe God, you position yourself for a miracle. When you declare His Word, you open the door to His power in your life. Today, if you are having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, don’t empower doubt with your words. Feed your faith because God is faithful.

God said the moment that you pray, He sets the miracle into motion. Every circumstance may look like you’ll never get free, never get well, never accomplish a dream, but chains have already been loosed, the right people are already on the way—healing, favor, vindication is about to come knocking at your door.2

The scripture says, “When it’s in your power to do good, don’t withhold it from others.” That means when you know you can be a blessing—you have the resources to help that person in need, you can teach them the skills that you’ve learned—don’t put it off. When you help solve their problem, you’re not just being good to them, you are setting a miracle in motion for yourself. When you show favor, the scripture says favor will come to you.

When you’re good to people, when you meet a need, when you become a miracle, God will make sure that you get paid back. Your gifts, your generosity, your kindness will come back to you.

Remember, you are somebody’s miracle today. You have the power to change someone’s life through a smile, an encouraging word, an act of kindness, or a gift. You are blessed to be a blessing.

Prayer for Today: “Heavenly Father, thank You for another day to praise You, another day to see Your miracle-working power in my life. Even when I don’t see how things are going to work out, I trust that You have a plan. Lord, I know that Your ways are higher than mine. Today, I rest in You and look forward to the good things You have for me.”
