Be Inspired By This Message From Joel Osteen, “God Sees and Hears”

God sees all the heartache, the tears, what didn’t work out, who did you wrong. What you’re believing for may not have happened yet—it may be taking a long time—but God is a faithful God. He’s not only going to bring it to pass, that would be good enough, you would be satisfied, but God is going to do more than you asked.

God sees your sacrifice. He knows how to open the windows of heaven. You can’t be good to somebody without God being good back to you. We don’t do it for that reason; that’s just the way God is.

Sometimes we don’t serve because it seems small, insignificant. But on the way to the big things God has in store, He will test us with small things.

Don’t talk yourself out of going the extra mile at home, serving your family, taking care of those children, getting up early, making sure everything is right. Nobody may be saying thank you, it feels like it’s unnoticed, but God sees your sacrifice. That’s what leads to new levels.

God sees you going the extra mile. He sees you working hard, making sacrifices, but nobody is thanking you. He sees you fighting that illness, the lonely nights, praising when you could be complaining, giving when you’re not seeing increase. You’re going to come out of that lonely season, that unfair season, that barren season into a season of great joy, great favor, great health, great relationships, great opportunity. Because you’ve passed the test, you’ve proved to God that you can handle the weight of glory, you’re going to see Him show out in your life.

People can’t see what God sees in you. God sees your potential. He knows what you’re capable of. He’s the one that breathed life into you. Don’t let people talk you out of it. They’re calling you what you are, but God’s calling you what you can become.

When people are talking about you, don’t worry; God hears it. He’s your defender, and He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. The very ones that are trying to hold you down, they will see you in a position of honor. That’s your defender going to work.

When people are talking about you, trying to push you down and keep you in a dark place, don’t worry—God sees and hears them. They’re putting you in position for promotion, to be blessed in a greater way.

If you hear somebody saying negative things about you, pay it no attention. Give it no energy. It’s a distraction. Instead of getting upset and feeling badly, remember, they don’t talk about ordinary people; they talk about exceptional people. They wouldn’t be talking about you if you weren’t a cut above. Take it as a compliment.

God sees what you’re doing. He sees your heart of compassion. Nobody may be clapping for you down here, but up there, all of heaven is cheering you on.

God is not going to deliver us from every difficulty. He is not going to keep us from every challenge. If He did, we would never grow. The scripture says, “Our faith is tried in the fire of affliction.” When you’re in a tough time, that’s an opportunity to show God what you’re made of.

A Prayer for Today: “Father, Thank You for always being greater than any challenge or adversity I may face. Thank You for the critics who have been destined to cross my way. I believe they were destined to promote me and bring me blessing in a greater way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
