When you feel like giving up, give up these things: Your worries, not your faith- because God will always take care of you. Your fears, not your peace- because God will always fight for you. Your insecurities, not your identity, because in God you are always valued, loved, and worth it.
When you feel troubled, worried, or at your lowest hand over all those negative emotions and thoughts to God and allow Him to remind you that He loves you and He holds your life in His hands. You will always have hope when you have Jesus. Never forget it!
Here is today’s Daily Devotional take a second to read this message from me to you: Let God anoint you today. Receive this message as a Blessing. Keep your arms open for His Presence. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, Omnipresent in and dwelling in unapproachable Light.
When you draw near to God, He will respond by coming closer to you. As His presence envelops you, you may feel overwhelmed by His Power and Glory. This is a form of worship: sensing your smallness in comparison to His Greatness.
Man has tended to make himself the measure of all things. But man’s measure is too tiny to comprehend God’s majestic vastness. That is why most people do not see Him at all, even though they live and move and have their being in Him.
Enjoy the radiant beauty of God’s Presences today. Declare His glorious Being to the world!
Verses to Meditate on today: Which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. —1 Timothy 6:15–16
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. —James 4:8
“‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” —Acts 17:28
Stop what you’re doing and pray this: Lord, place me where I’ll grow the most. Teach me to love the dirt that transforms me. Help me to remember in the middle of my mess today, you’ll use it as a message tomorrow. Give me eyes that see the golden threads in my pain. Let me be a lighthouse in this valley.
