Don’t Miss This Powerful Message, “Know God as Your Father” From Joyce Meyer

For many years I prayed the “Lord’s Prayer,” and I didn’t know God to be my Father. I didn’t have a particularly intimate relationship with God. I was just repeating something I had learned.

Knowing God as your Father is essential if you want to be closer to the Lord and more effective in your prayer practice. When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, He taught them what we call the “Lord’s Prayer,” which is a spiritual treasure house of principles for prayer.

Jesus was showing them the privileged relationship He came to bring to every believer. He told them they could have a relationship with God as their Father if they expected to go to Him in prayer.

God loves it when you curl up in His lap each morning to open His Word and talk to Him. He loves for you to share your laughter, joy, pain, and frustration with him.

God is placing great opportunities in your life…pause and appreciate them. As you choose to enjoy the journey, your life will be much more rewarding and fulfilling.

Don’t go to God as someone that you’re afraid of but develop a Father-child relationship with Him. You need to know that you’re loved! If you believe that God loves you then you can begin to love yourself and then you can begin to love other people. And you can have healthy, good relationships and you can enjoy your life.

Replace your fears with confidence and watch what God can do. God always does His part, making seemingly impossible things possible.

Our heavenly Father loves us and has His eye on us at all times. Learn to enjoy God. He gave us Jesus so we know He will give us all things needed to enjoy life anf live godly.

When you pray, remember you have a loving Father Who is listening. If you can learn to pray bold prayers and big prayers, and expect big and believe big, God will do extraordinary things in your life.

God truly is our Father. He loves us, cares for us, is always with us, never hurts us, but is for us.

We have a place with God our Father. As we spend time with Him, we know Him more and more. We can love, worship, and trust Him. God our Father can be our closest Friend if we will simply draw near to Him.

Prayer Starter: Lord, thank You for knowing me and loving me on such a personal level. I love You so much. Thank You for everything You’ve done for me, but especially for staying in my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
