Receiving the power of the Holy Spirit in your life is not about getting a goose bump or having a feeling. It’s about truly wanting the ability to do God’s will, desiring to live a holy life and wanting the fullness of God within you.
Realizing that God is with you, helping you along the way, provides the courage you need to face the future boldly, knowing that you truly can overcome any obstacle in the strength and power of the Lord.
God promises to be with us through difficulties, to fight on our behalf, to strengthen us to overcome any obstacle we confront, and to give us the ability to overcome them under one condition—that we never give up.
If you’ll trust God and get up every day expecting God’s favor, you’ll see God do amazing things. You’ll overcome every obstacle.You’ll see every dream, every promise God has put in your heart, come to pass.
Being thankful for what God has done is one of the most important attitudes that we can have. It’s not only important to God, but it’s really important to us. It changes our lives when we’re thankful. I believe that gratitude is powerful. I think it puts a smile on God’s face, and it does nothing but good for you and everyone around you. Good things are in store when you understand the power of being thankful.
If you’ll learn to get up every day expecting God’s favor, you’ll see God begin to do amazing things in your life. You’ll overcome every obstacle. You’ll defeat every enemy.
You have been equipped by the Creator of the universe to overcome every obstacle. Forget what you lack. Look to who loves you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives inside you. You are well able. You are anointed to accomplish your dreams.
God, I know that You have overcome any and every obstacle, so I ask You to help me live in the peace that You’ve provided for me. Show me how to trust You as I live “in the now.” In Jesus’ name, Amen!
