Psalm 46:1-2 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”

God never allows pain without a purpose. That pain wasn’t meant to break you; it was meant to mold you. It may look like a pain to you but God sees it as a steppingstone towards a greater joy that is coming. The strength of your faith is often revealed in your ability to overcome hardships. There is a hidden blessing on every other side of pain. You are closer to the promise. Keep enduring. Greater things are coming.

God is saying, “Let me do my part now. You rest.”⁣⁣ We tend to do everything on our own, with our limited strength, and we end up losing it.⁣ Trusting God also means making room for Him to act, move, and intervene.⁣ We cannot do everything but we can trust God in everything.⁣⁣

If you’ve cried already, then it’s time to rest and leave everything in God’s hands. Let Him do His part. You’ve done yours.

If you’ve waited already, then it’s time to stop wearing yourself out. Be still, and know God and His character as you wait. Believe that even in your waiting, He is working.⁣⁣

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)⁣⁣

Walk in faith and not in fear today. Don’t worry about things God has already worked out in your life. You already did what you know best. Now, leave everything to God. He’s got you.⁣⁣

Lord, Make me strong in You and in the power of Your might! The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
