The longer I live, the more I recognize the goodness of God in my life. Things that I thought were a coincidence, people that I thought were just deciding to be good to me, I realize now that it was the Source. Doors opening that you couldn’t open, somebody deciding to give you a good break, being at the right place at the right time, meeting that person and falling in love, none of those were coincidences. That was the Source. Every good thing comes from your Father.
God said in Psalm 32, “I will guide you along the best path for your life. I will advise you, watch over you and instruct you along the way.” Notice how God takes you down the best path.
He puts His desires in you. He advises you; He instructs you; He watches over you. You don’t have to worry about missing your destiny. “What am I supposed to do? What if this isn’t the right decision?” Because you’ve committed your ways to God, you can trust your desires. You can follow what He’s put in your heart.
Know that God is listening to your prayers. Even when you feel like your prayers are hitting the ceiling, know that He is faithful and He longs to hear you call on His Name. He is as close as the air you breathe.
If you have a promise you believe God has given you, I want to encourage you to put hope in front of that promise. Hope gives our faith something to attach itself to. The scripture says, faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hope fuels your faith. If you keep your hope up, faith will move you in the right direction.
Scripture says that man makes his plans, but God directs his steps. Be open to what God wants to do in your life that may not be what you had planned.
You are well able to do what God has called you to do! You can accomplish your goals. You have the ideas, the creativity and the talent to be successful. Embrace the God-given opportunities before you today!
When I look back over my life, I can see where I’ve missed out on some God-given opportunities. Maybe you are saying the same thing. If so, I want to encourage you: Don’t live in regret. Don’t let lost opportunities make you feel disappointed and discouraged. God is bigger than your lost opportunities. He can still get you where you need to go in life.
God longs to bless you, and He’s given you everything you need to be successful in life. Remember, all things are possible to those who believe.
