If you are going through a difficult time right now, don’t be discouraged and run away. Trust God to be with you, and He will give you the grace and the wisdom to get through it.
“There were so many times in 2020 when I thought, only God could have done this! While the world was shut down, we actually reached more people with food, water and practical help. And despite all the limitations, God showed us that His Word is never limited. You helped share the Gospel in new and innovative ways, and people’s lives were forever changed. Before the year even started, God began encouraging me that all things are possible with Him. He was getting ready to do miracles around the world…and He used you and me to do it.” – Joyce
You have to believe that whatever God tells you to do, you can do it. He will never tell us to do anything without giving us the ability to do it. God has given you a spirit of power! And that means no matter what you are facing, God is ready to enable you to do whatever you need to right now.
Trust in God, don’t worry, think about what you’re thinking about, and maintain peace in your heart no matter what is going on in your life. God will take care of you! You don’t have to face this alone. “Trust Me I’ll take care of it. Don’t waste your life worrying today…”
“For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God.”
-Ephesians 2:8
Grace, grace and more grace! That’s what we need and something we never graduate from! Ask Him today for the grace you need to accomplish all your tasks.
We can be thankful that God loves us and chooses to make His home in us. He has the ability to do what He wants, and He chooses to make His home in our hearts. This choice is based not on any good deeds we have done or ever could do, but solely on the grace, mercy, power, and love of God.
God’s grace is what divinely empowers us to beat temptation, treat people with genuine love, do things with excellence, and ultimately to walk out the purpose He has for each one of us. What’s one thing God’s grace has enabled you to do—or not do—that you thought you’d never overcome?
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
– 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
We can’t change ourselves, we have to ask God for His grace and power to change. And remember…the more time we spend with Jesus the more like Him we will become!
God always gives us the grace (ability) to handle difficult things as we trust Him, but He doesn’t give it to us until we actually need it. If we look into the future and don’t trust God, we are looking ahead without grace. But faith causes us to look at the future knowing that grace will come when we need it.
As hard as I’ve tried, I’ve never had one day where I didn’t think something wrong, say something wrong, do something wrong, or have a wrong attitude. So, we all come back to the only way that we’re going to get into heaven is by the grace and mercy of God, not because of anything that we do.
God gives every person however much they need to do whatever it is He’s called them to do. You may be in a really tough situation, but I believe that God will give you grace for your place.
Grace is the power of the Holy Spirit coming into our lives to enable us to do with ease what we can never do with any amount of struggle and effort on our own.
