Today (now) we have faith that God will take care of any mistakes we made yesterday and that He holds tomorrow in His hand. This alone allows us to enjoy and live fully today.
Stop thinking that your failures and mistakes are too much for God. He has cast all of your sins behind His back (see Isaiah 38:17). He isn’t looking at them, so you don’t need to look at them either!
Today is the gift we have from God. Don’t waste today regretting the past or dreading the future. Enjoy this day because it is a gift from God!
To miss the joy and opportunities it holds due to regret over the past or dread of the future is not God’s will for us.
Jesus was the greatest gift. So even in giving gifts this season, we need to remember that it’s not about how much money you spend. It’s really about the heart that you put in it.
True faith must always operate in the “now” season of our lives, and faith alone enables us to be at peace and enjoy the present moment.
Everything is in God’s hands, and He has a good plan for each of us (see Jeremiah 29:11). Rather than dreading or feeling apprehensive about the future, we can live with expectancy regarding it.
God isn’t finished with you yet and He has a good plan for your life! If you’ve mistreated in life, God is ready to make those wrong things right.
“When you let God point you in the direction He wants you to go, your purpose is revealed and it starts to make sense. When we try to do things on our own and not according to God’s plan- trust me, It will either not work- or it will, and it won’t be as rewarding as what God had in mind for you!”
When you search your heart and listen to God’s guidance the path to your purpose, ypur self worth and a fulfilling path become clearer. God wants every one of us to experience hope and healing in Christ and have an appropriate sense of self-worth.
Relax. God is pleased. We are made acceptable in the Beloved. Our faith in Jesus, not our performance, is what makes us acceptable to God and pleases Him. (Ephesians 1:6)
Prayer Starter: Father, teach me to live fully in the now season of my life. Help me to trust You to bring good out of any regrets I may have from the past, and to believe that my future holds something beautiful. In Jesus’ name, amen.
