When Jesus rose from the 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑑, grief departed, and His suffering—so wrenching and complete—became a thing of the past. At the moment of Christ’s resurrection, His focus, and ours, turned to the future.
The miraculous lesson of Easter is this: through Jesus’ death on the cross, we have been granted a second chance. We have permission to leave our old lives behind and focus on a new day, with all its potential for joy and choices that honor God.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, Easter is the perfect time to ask Him into your heart and your life.
No matter what happens in your life, no matter what comes against you, no matter what challenges you have, you can do whatever you need to do in life through Christ who strengthens you.
Stop reliving the past and beating yourself up over all the mistakes you’ve made. The slate has been wiped clean! Make a decision to paint a new life for yourself, bright with the colors of redemption, grace, and renewal. Jesus loves you. Happy Easter!
They crucified Jesus and put Him in the grave. They thought He was done, but on the third day, He rose up and said, “I am alive forevermore.” God has the final say. He’s already planned out your days for good.
We need to be people that will pray for the people who’ve hurt us, knowing that things shouldn’t be so much about what everybody’s doing to us, but more about what they’re doing to themselves when they do mistreat us.
Take some time today to just be quiet. We never hear God or sense His Presence in the midst of noise. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God.”
The blessing and significance of the Resurrection for us Catholic believers: Faith and Hope for an Abundant Future!!!
Don’t surround yourself with people that feed your dysfunction. As long as you accept dysfunction as the norm, you give it permission to stay. Get around some happy people. Get around people that lift your spirit.
Happy Easter. We pray you experience God’s peace as you celebrate Christ’s Resurrection today.
