Remember that everyone experiences the feeling of loneliness, no one is exempt because God created us for togetherness. Jesus experienced loneliness when He was here on earth also, He feels what you feel.
People may come and go from your life, but God will never leave you. He is always by your side. He is devoted and loyal, as if he were a brother. Rest and comfort in the knowledge that He is with you.
You could look at loneliness as an indicator that something is missing, and that something is found only in Jesus Christ. From the time we are connected to him in trust and brought to completion in glory, God completes what is missing.
God created us for communion with him, and therefore loneliness will be fully eradicated only when we get to heaven. That’s why everyone— young or old, single or married—experiences loneliness.
The good news is God knows exactly what that place in your soul is all about. Even if you don’t think anyone else does right now, he understands you. And He is always at your side, listening to your petitions.
Sometimes it’s so easy to focus on our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. Trust that God has a way that’s better than your own.
Every time you go through something hard and somebody comes against you, but you know in your heart that you’ve done what God asked you to do, you just hang on because I am telling you, you have got a blessing coming and you will see it and live in it.
We all go through seasons of difficulty that can sometimes feel overwhelming. But during these times, we have to remember that Almighty God is greater than the struggle we face.
Say this prayer if you need comfort: Holy Spirit, I need You more than ever right now. My heart is hurting, and I feel overwhelmed with loneliness. At this moment, I welcome Your presence, Your peace, and Your love.
Thank You for filling me with Your overwhelming comfort, holding me in Your arms and surrounding me with Your healing love. Your Word says that because I’m Your child when I hurt, You hurt too.
Thank You for caring about every single detail of my life, wiping away my tears, and for always being here for me. I love You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
