The scripture says, “When you seek God first, all these things will be added unto you.” God wants to give you more than just what you need; He wants to give you your heart’s desires.
God already knows what you’ll need, when you’ll need it, and how to bring it to you. God already has the solution to the problem you’re worried about. The vindication, the healing, the breakthrough is already set up.
There’s always something trying to steal the seed of God’s Word out of your heart. But keep in mind what God stated. You will have more than enough even if there is a famine.
Whatever you put your hand to will grow and prosper. Your source is not the economy; your source is God. You’ve got a never-ending supply line attached to you. And because you keep that seed watered—you keep thanking God for what You’re going to see God’s faithfulness if you keep talking like it’s on the way, thinking on what He said all the time. He’ll make things happen that you wouldn’t be able to.
It’s easy to magnify the problem instead of magnifying God. But the bigger you make God, the smaller your problems become, and the more faith will rise in your heart.
Every day, there’s something we could worry about, some reason for us to be uptight, stressed out. Keep this phrase close to your heart, “God’s got this. He’s working in my life. He’s concerned about me. He’s bigger than anything I’m facing. He’s lining up the right people. He’s arranging things in my favor.” That attitude of faith is what allows God to do great things.
God is counting on us. When you take time to restore the broken, encourage them, wipe away their tears, let them know that there are new beginnings—that’s the religion Jesus talked about. True religion doesn’t judge people to see if they deserve our help.
Don’t let people keep you from what God put in your heart. Always be respectful, but remember, you’re not going to have to give an account of what you did with your life to people; you’re going to stand before God. I would rather disappoint people than disappoint God. I would rather hurt a few feelings than miss my destiny.
God is asking us today, “Will you carry someone?” Maybe not physically, but will you help lighten their load? Will you help make their dreams come to pass? Will you go out of your way to be a blessing to them? Helping less fortunate people is the closest thing to the heart of God.
Whatever God has put in your heart needs to get in your conversation. Talk like it’s going to happen. That’s releasing your faith. Don’t just believe it, declare it!
PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You that Your heart is to help hurting people. Help me to have Your heart and not be so preoccupied with my own needs that I forget to help others. I wish to uplift others by encouraging them, offering my assistance, speaking a kind word, and lifting them up when they are down. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
