Artist Inspired By Pareidolia Adds Faces Where They Don’t Occur Naturally

French digital artist Fabien Barrau works with major businesses, providing them with his expertise in advertising. On his spare time, however, he is an avid enthusiast of pareidolia – a phenomenon in which someone sees a pattern or image of something that does not exist, for example, a face in a cloud.

To take the idea a step further, Fabien makes photomontages that feature creatures, objects, and shapes that wouldn’t normally appear in nature using both stock images and his own photographs acquired with a drone.

So scroll down and check out the picturesque artworks for yourself!
