A Nigerian woman identified as Oby Evelyn has shared the blessings she recently received from God on social media. Oby Evelyn has given birth to a set of triplets after 14 years of marriage and trying to conceive.
The mother said that the quadruplets are her eighth birth. The mothers and their newborns were taken to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) for proper care after delivery.
The mother, however, said that the only male child among the babies died before they got to ABUTH and the remaining ones have been placed under intensive care.
Oby Evelyn recounted the challenges she faced before welcoming her babies, said she welcomed a boy and two girls.
She captioned her post “I am speechless.l don’t know how to begin this because my mouth is full of praise.the joy is unbeatable.lnfact nothing beats this moment.God has given me triple for my shame n mockery after 14 solid years of marriage.my God of 11th hour has blessed me with a prince n 2 princesses.my testimony is a dream come true.thank you my great God!!!Lastest mama ejima ito”
She added that though she is very healthy, medical officials said she needs to be monitored before she can be discharged.
His mother, Saudatu Haruna, said that the birth was not a surprising one as it runs in the family, adding that she gave birth to a set of twins on two different occasions. She said that in addition to being triplets, both of her parents were twins.
