Jesus is indeed our light and just like one sees only darkness when one shuts one’s eyes; a Christian who loses focus of Jesus or become insensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit is faced with paralysing darkness, such is lost, afraid and confused.
With God, you never run out of chances. He’ll always throw you a lifeline and lift you out of whatever mess you find yourself in! Call on Him, and He will answer and show you great and mighty things!
I say these to any Christian reading this message who is going through an uncomfortable time and has become fearful hearted, “Do not be afraid”!
The Lord your God will come and with His mighty arm, when you call on His Name, He will come and save you.
If you would look away from your worries, lifting up your eyes to God; I declare that you will arise again in Jesus Name. Do not lose your faith.
God is our refuge in the day of trouble. He is our shelter in the time of storm. He is our tower in the day of sorrow and our fortress in the time of war. Glory be to His Holy Name.
You may be going through some difficult times right now, but know this, “You’re extraordinary because God chose you to be extraordinary.” He says, “You’re My child. There’s no one else like you.” He put a seed of promise in you, and you need to protect the assignment He’s given you. You need to get into an environment where it can grow, such as a good church where people know God and speak encouragement to your heart.
Get His Word in you, so that when you go out to birth what God put in you, you’ll withstand the challenges you’ll face. Remember that He put His power in you to accomplish your assignments. Protect what He’s given you. Birth what He’s put in you.
God sees every person who has hurt you and every unfair situation that has happened to you. But remember it’s not what happened to you but what’s happening in you that matters the most. Pray for those who have wronged you and watch what God will do in your life.
I pray that you will set aside the next year to pursue God with a thankful heart. Don’t go through your life frustrated, miserable, and unhappy; God has something much better in store for you.
Live each day with a thankful heart, grateful for every good thing— no matter how big or how small—that God has done in your life. As you begin to remember the good things God has done in your past and realize the blessings you have in the present, you can’t help getting excited about what He is going to do in your future.
