Today’s Scripture: Every time you help others—God sees it. He says, “You will surely be rewarded.” That word “surely” means you can count on it. Have no doubt. It will happen.
Today’s Word: We all have situations that look like they’re never going to work out. It’s easy to become frustrated and believe the struggle is ended. God, however, has the last say. Although the medical report is unfavorable, it is not the final word. God’s word is final.
He’s standing right alongside God and what He says goes.” You may be dealing with a sickness; the medical report says you’re not going to make it. That’s one word, but God has the last word. The sovereign God, the God who reigns says, “I’m restoring health back unto you.
When you know that God has the final say, you don’t live stressed over the medical report or try to manipulate or play up to people to like you. You stay in peace, knowing that you’re not at the mercy of bad breaks, accidents, sicknesses, or people who are against you. What God says goes.
Put God in remembrance of what He promised, not what you feel like, not what you deserve, not what a relative said, but what God said. God is not holding your mistakes against you. Don’t go through life holding them against yourself.
All He asks is that we believe. When He puts a promise in your heart, don’t think of all the reasons it’s not going to work out. It’s sometimes necessary to switch off your thoughts. Faith does not always make sense, and what God says does not always make sense. You’ll miss God’s best if you think it out and consult all the experts and read all the papers. Take a chance and believe. Dare to say, “God, I don’t see away, but I know You have a way.”
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You that I’m strong in the Lord. Thank You that I can do all things through Christ. Thank You that Your favor is surrounding me like a shield. Thank You that I am not at the mercy of anyone else or any situation I may be struggling with. I believe and declare that what You say goes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
