Start calling yourself healed, happy, whole, blessed, and prosperous. Stop talking to God about how big your mountains are, and start talking to your mountains about how big God is!
When you are tempted to get discouraged, remind yourself that according to God’s word, your future is getting brighter; you are on your way to a new level of glory. You may think you’ve got a long way to go, but you need to look back at how far you’ve already come. You may not be everything you want to be but at least you can thank God that you’re not what you used to be.
Start calling yourself healed, happy, whole, blessed, moving forward, prosperous and a child of the most high God. You need to tell every closed door, “You are not permanent; you will not keep me from my destiny. You don’t have the final say. God has the final say. He is my doorkeeper. He’s promised that He will open doors that no person can shut.”
There are goals that God has put in you. Dreams, healing, promotion and restoration, they’re lying dormant. When you can’t seem to get a good break, you have to remember that those promises are still alive. You have to start calling them out.
When you talk defeat, you’re headed toward defeat. When you talk failure, lack, mediocrity, you’re headed that way. You’re setting the direction with your words. Are you in agreement with God? He’s said you’re blessed. Are you saying something else? He’s said you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, a masterpiece, crowned with favor. Are you calling yourself inferior, weak, unattractive? Start declaring what He promised.
The generational blessing will override mistakes that you’ve made. It will supersede negative things that were said about you. It will put you on a course for blessing, for favor that cannot be stopped. In the generations to come, because you started this blessing, your family line is going to see God’s goodness in ways that don’t make sense, favor that they don’t deserve, mercy when they make mistakes, good breaks that they don’t have anything to do with. It’s because of how you lived, the choices you made to honor God and put Him first place.
We all face situations that look permanent, but it’s not permanent to God. God doesn’t allow you to get into anything that He can’t bring you out of. God knew how to get you out of trouble before you got in trouble. He knows the end from the beginning.
Is there something you’re letting overwhelm you? You think it’s too much. Get up every morning and make this simple declaration, “God, I want to thank You that I can handle anything that comes my way today.” Declare that you’ll have a good attitude wherever you are.
If you ever find yourself overwhelmed and don’t see anything good in your future, get in agreement with God and say, “God, I know You’ve got a good plan. You’ve got brighter days in store for me up ahead.”
