We all go through difficult times in life. Maybe a loved one let you down. Maybe you didn’t get the job or promotion you wanted. Maybe you’re having a challenge in your health. Sometimes it can feel like a raging river of emotion inside, but God promises that He is with you. He won’t let you down. He still calms the storms that rage around you!
What did the disciples do when they were in a great storm in Mark 4? They called on Jesus! They turned to Him when they didn’t know what to do, and He brought peace to their circumstances.
Today, if you are going through circumstances you don’t understand, know that it’s no surprise to God. He’s already prepared a way of escape for you. Call on Jesus, today! He’s closer than the air you breath! He loves you with an everlasting love, and He promises that He is always with you!
When you pursue the glory of God you are set free from seeking the approval of this world. What a gift! In every area of your life ask God, “How can I give you all the glory in all of my life?” And then find rest in His word, God’s plan for you will always be for your own good.
”For He gives us everything we need for life and godliness.” (2 Peter 1:3–4).
So, trust Him. When you surrender you life to Him, you will be given such peace and joy that every move aligns and you will see that He is always working with you.
God Will Be With You ‘There’. “But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deut. 4:29.
God is with you in every situation. He is with you both ‘here’ and ‘there’. His reminder to you, “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deut. 31:7-8).
I declare and decree that God will show up and do great and mighty things which you know not! Call on to Him! Great are You Lord! Great are You Lord! Great are You Lord! You are blessed in JESUS name.
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for being with me in the storms of life. I choose to trust You even when I don’t understand. I choose to call on You knowing that You can bring peace to the storms in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
