“But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in[your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.” -2 Corinthians 12:9
It is such a powerful and comforting thought that there isn’t a single thing or many things you can do to exhaust God’s love and grace for your life! Think about THAT!
Do you ever feel hopelessly weak and down on yourself? God wants you to know that the only power weakness has over you is the power you give it.
Disliking yourself because of your flaws leads to problems that can affect many aspects of your life. God, on the other hand, is not surprised by human weakness. In reality, it’s a chance for His strength and might to shine through in your weakness.
Whatever your weakness is, if you go to God, He promises that He will give us strength in our weakness!
Make a decision to not be so troubled by your inadequacies that you fail to see them as great chances for God as you concentrate on the truth of this promise. Stop grieving over your weaknesses and start receiving God’s grace, strength, and power.
It’s time to hope for happiness. The obstacle before you is an opportunity for God to do something amazing in your life. You’re not going to lose—God is on your side, and God’s undefeated.
Prayer Starter: Father, I ask for Your help to see myself the way You see me. Help me to view my weaknesses as opportunities to receive your grace and strength. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
