While you’re waiting for the promises, do your part and keep praying. Keep expecting. Keep thanking God.
Too often, we get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for. In Luke 18:1, the scripture says, “Jesus told His disciples a story to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes.” That’s the key. It may be taking longer than you thought, but keep praying. Behind the scenes, things are happening that you can’t see. Don’t stop praying now.
God hears every word you say, so He must then hear every prayer! God loves you and wants a relationship with you. Even if you cannot find the perfect words, God understands what is in your heart.
Your story is not over. God is not finished with you. If you’ll keep being your best, keep believing, keep praying, keep honoring God, then trouble won’t be the end; it will be transportation. It will move you toward the new thing God has in store.
Sometimes God is silent: you don’t hear Him saying anything. It’s easy to think you must be off course; something must be wrong. He’s not talking. That means you’re on the right course. Keep being your best. Keep stretching, praying, believing.
The next step is coming. You have to pass the test of being faithful where you are, being your best with what you have. That next step is going to be an increase step, a favor step, a healing step, a breakthrough step.
Keep praying even though it feels like God went on vacation. Keep believing even though your mind is telling you it’s never going to change.
God hears our prayers and wants us to pray continuously. No matter where you are, present your requests to Him with gratitude and see what happens.
God hears every word you say, so He must then hear every prayer! God loves you and wants a relationship with you. Even if you cannot find the perfect words, God understands what is in your heart.
Even if you feel like your prayers are not being heard, they are and God will hear the truth of that prayer and answer you in wonderful and unexpected ways! He has a good plan in mind for you. So remember this, you’re not being rejected; you’re being protected. You’re not being overlooked; God has your best interest at heart and is guiding your path.
Have faith for God knows the deepest cries of your heart. He knows how deeply you long to be loved. What you need most is a relationship with Him, and somehow what you pray for changes and what you thought you needed to be happy might change too!
