When we maintain an attitude of thanksgiving, we close the door to grumbling and complaining—which seem to be ever-present temptations in our lives. The truth is we don’t develop a complaining attitude; we are all born with one. But with God’s help, we can develop and nurture a thankful attitude.
God never promised that life would be fair, but He did promise that if you will stay in faith, He will take what’s meant for your harm and use it to your advantage. Nothing that’s happened to you is a surprise to God.
Forgiveness is manifested mercy; it is love in action—not love based on a feeling, but love based on a decision, an intentional choice to obey God.
Think your sins are too great for God to love you? Paul, who was even persecuting Christians, shares about God’s love inspite of his wickedness.
“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus”. 1 Timothy 1:12-17 NIV
When somebody says something about you, either good or bad, that seed is planted in your soil. You get to determine whether or not that seed takes root and grows.
When you stay in faith, you will walk into God’s blessings. Understand that He’s already released into your future everything you need to fulfill your destiny.
Get up each day and invite good things into your life. When you confess good things based on what God is saying, you’ll begin to see more favor coming your way!
Start each day by giving God thanks for His goodness. Whenever something good happens, remember to thank Him and give all the praise to Him.
