When we step out to do what God has called us to do, Scripture says that His favor surrounds us like a shield. Let His shield of favor protect you and provide for you.
When you begin each day in faith, anticipating something good, God tells the angels to go to work and arrange things in your favor.
If you’re in Christ today, you’re in a powerful position. First Corinthians 1:24 says that “In Christ is all the power of God. In Christ is all the wisdom of God.” That means that in Christ is everything that we need: peace, joy, wisdom, direction, hope and provision!
The way we tap into His power inside of us is through obedience to His Word and by our faith in Him. Scripture tells us that He is the vine and we are the branches. A branch won’t last very long if it’s disconnected from the vine because the vine is its life source. It’s the same for us. We have to stay connected to God and not let the cares of the world pull us down and distract us from our relationship with Him. When you are diligent to stay in God’s Word and spend time with Him through prayer and worship, when you talk to Him throughout the day, that’s how you stay in Him.
Today, don’t let the clutter of the world keep you from spending time with the Father. Know that He loves you and He is for you. He has everything that you need, so stay connected and keep your heart and mind always in Him!
God knows how to protect you, not only from harm, not only from the wrong people. God will protect you from yourself.
Don’t go around intimidated, weak, afraid of what you’re up against. God can protect you, guide you and make things happen that you could never make happen.
You may be tired today: tired of believing for your dreams, tired of trying to make your marriage work, tired of raising those children. God sees what you’re going through. He feels the weight of what you’re carrying. He’s not going to leave you there. He has angels coming your way to strengthen you, to encourage you, to lift you.
God is not going to let you give up. He’s not going to let you get so discouraged that you can’t become who you were created to be. You may feel that way at times: the task looks too big, the opposition too strong, the dream is taking too long. You don’t have the strength. Don’t worry; angels are on the way. You’re about to feel a strength that you’ve never felt, power that you’ve never had.
Maybe God has you reading this to remind you that when you face these times where you feel fatigued, overwhelmed, like you don’t have the strength to go on, that’s okay, Jesus felt overwhelmed. Moses and Elijah didn’t think they could go on. God is going to send angels to strengthen you; the right people are going to show up. God is not going to let you miss your destiny. He gives strength to the weary.
There’s another world that we can’t see with our natural eyes. If God were to pull back the curtain, you would see into the invisible world; you would see all these forces that are for you. Powerful warring angels at work on your behalf, standing guard, protecting you, pushing back the forces of darkness. You would see God moving the wrong people out of the way, lining up things in your favor, arranging good breaks, healing, deliverance. Don’t get discouraged by what you see with your physical eyes. Through your eyes of faith, you need to see every obstacle that’s holding you back surrounded by the Most High.
You’re not doing life alone. In the unseen world right now, you have all these powerful warring angels surrounding you. You may be surrounded by trouble, but the good news is trouble is surrounded by the Most High. Psalm 91 says, when you honor God with your life, He will command His angels to watch over you.
