God’s will is found in God’s Word and when we faithfully walk in-step with Him, we are on the best pathway for our lives.
God’s calling and desire for you is no secret. He lays out His promises and guidance for our lives in His word. He gives us His Spirit to convict and direct us to stay in alignment with His will. And when we find ourselves stuck, He places others around us with the wisdom to remind us of His truth.
There may be many different areas where you’re seeking God’s will for the bigger picture this year; whether it be a mate, an opportunity, a dream or vision. Trust that as you are faithful right where you are He is shaping all things together for good.
You may have had a miserable past; you may even be in current circumstances that are very negative and depressing. You can be in a scenario where you don’t see any reason to be optimistic. But, bluntly, I assert that neither your history nor your present define your destiny!
Staying focused on your dream will get you through the difficult times. Scripture tells us that without a vision, people perish. If you don’t have a dream or a vision for your life, you’re not really going to reach your fullest potential.
Start believing that God’s Word is true. Mark 9:23 assures you that with God all things are possible. Because you serve a God who created everything you see out of the unseen realm (see Hebrews 11:3), you can hand over your emptiness to Him and watch Him work for you. All you have to do is trust Him and believe His Word, and He will take care of the rest!
Vision sets the course for your future. What are you imagining when you think about tomorrow? Get a vision for victory and set your focus on all that God has for you!
Today, no matter what you are facing, choose to believe God’s Word. Know that He loves you and wants the best for you. He is working in your life and taking you one step at a time. Let His love build confidence and security in you because He is faithful, and He will finish the work that He started in you!
Prayer Starter: Dear Father, I thank You for loving me and having a vision—a good plan—for my life. I pray that You will help me overcome any negative ideas of past or present troubles that arise in my mind and transform my life into what You desire. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
