In His Word God has given us the tools we need to help us through each new day. So, when you wake up in the morning, decide that no matter what happens, you will not be depressed today.
We do what God gives us to do, and then we trust God to do what only He can do.
Paul said it this way in Romans 8:28, “All things work together for good for those that love the Lord.” All things mean even our mistakes, even the times we blew it and got off course, God knows how to work it for our good.
What a great trade! We give God our worry, and He gives us His peace. We give Him all our cares and concerns, and He gives us His protection, stability, and joy. That’s the amazing blessing and privilege of being cared for by Him!
Not everything that God asks us to do is convenient, but everything God asks us to do, He gives us the grace to do!
The love of God is what heals our wounded souls. It’s what gives us confidence. It’s what gives us courage. Knowing that we are loved perfectly by a perfect, powerful God changes us like nothing else.
I love the Word of God because it changes us. It helps us. It gives us the power to be the person that God wants us to be!
God gives each of us unique talents, abilities, and traits, but He doesn’t give anyone everything. None of us have everything, but we all have something!
God gives us strength for every battle! He takes us from strength to strength and glory to glory. That doesn’t mean you’re never going to fail. Oftentimes, strength is built in the getting back up!
Just as Jesus used His power to serve others, we can use what God gives us to help people. As we bless others, we’ll see joy and fulfillment increase in our lives.
The presence of God is powerful. It gives us peace, joy, strength, and so much more. Enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise!
Sometimes God wants us to let go of what we have in our hand so He can give us something better. Are there areas in your life you need to turn over to Him? Today is the day to let it go!
