Find wisdom in God’s Word for Your Life

There are no problems that you have that you can’t find an answer for in God’s Word. True wisdom comes from God. His Word is an instruction manual for life. It guides us to manage our time and resources well. True wisdom is found in a humble, teachable attitude.

The ability to choose is one of God’s greatest gifts to us. Every day, we are confronted with literally hundreds of options. Is the decision we’re making the right one?

The good news is that we were never meant to make our own decisions. God wants to assist us in making the best decisions possible at all times, and I’d want to share four steps with you that will help you make the best decision possible.

First and foremost, God has given us His Word. It is alive, active, and powerful (see Hebrews 4:12). In fact, Jesus is called “the Word made flesh” (John 1:14). So, when we read and study the Bible, we’re not just reading a good book; we are actually spending time with God Himself!

The Bible is the instruction manual for our daily lives. It is filled with His wisdom, truths, stories, and parables to instruct us in every area. In it, we can find help for our behavior and our relationships with God and others. We can learn how to grow spiritually, to discern right from wrong, find information about His plan for our lives, and so much more.

If you want to enjoy your everyday life, you have to trust God’s Word, no matter your circumstances. That can be hard to do, but Joyce wants to encourage you!

Prayer for The Mind: “God, because I know Your Word, I can take every thought captive. Help me to come into perfect agreement with Your Word. Give me the discernment to reject bad thoughts and focus my attention on what is genuine, honorable, and right. Lord, I long to know the depths of Your Word’s truth. Help me to bury Your texts in my heart so that whenever I sense a need in my soul, I can come to accord with You. God, thank You for Your perfect direction, Your wisdom and guidance, and Your unfailing love. I know Your Word is true, and I’m believing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
