Early morning is a good time to pray. Prayer helps you focus on God and those you love, as well as yourself. Today is a new day! Old things have passed away, and God is making things new in your life. Receive it by faith and let Him have His perfect work in you!
There are many ways to commune with God in the morning, however, if you don’t know where to start prayer or how to talk to God, here are 5 prayers you can talk to.
- Prayer of Thanksgiving
Lord, thank you for a new day in this world. Father, I give you thanks for the brilliant sunshine and all the beautiful sounds of nature, from the soft breeze rustling through the trees to the loud chirps of the birds.Father, you are great, full of grace and mercy. I commend you for giving me another day with my family. I love dad so much! Amen.

- Pray for more power
Father, I ask You to give me more strength so I can live strong for You. Father, you know the challenges and temptations I face today. Please be with me as I go through these difficulties. If I don’t have the strength to escape from this, kindly take me. And Father pardons me if I fall. When I succeed, I will praise you! For the Father is worthy of praise and honor. Amen.
No matter where you’ve come from, no matter what’s happened in your past, God wants to make you new. It’s a new day, and He wants to give you a fresh start! Shake off the past and embrace all He has for you!

Have you prayed for your loved ones today? Pray that they will have peace that passes understanding, that they will receive God’s perfect love that casts out all fear. Pray that they will move forward confidently in the direction of their dreams!

Father, I thank you for providing me with this work so I may provide for my family and myself. Father, thank you for providing for my needs by providing me with a home, a car, and food. Please keep me safe when I go to work and use me as you please for your glory. Amen.

- Pray for a contented life
Glorious Father, help me focus on You today. I pray that you will always remind me to settle for every situation. Fill me so that I can rejoice completely in You, even when difficulties arise. May I be glorified by your life. Father, I want to honor You in everything I do. Praise His great Name! Amen.

You can have a wonderful encounter with God by approaching his throne of grace each morning. If you haven’t already, I urge you to begin praying as soon as you wake up. You will have God with you when you awaken with God. God grant you the grace to live a life that is deserving of his calling.
