You Can Have Hope When You Trust In God’s Love

When you think about the future, are you hopeful? Or do you struggle with a sense of dread?

People who have seen God’s faithfulness in the past tend to be very hopeful about the future. They know a bad situation can turn into a wonderful testimony in a matter of minutes.

On the other hand, people who have lost all hope view life from the perspective of dread. A close cousin to fear, dread steals the ability to enjoy ordinary life and makes people anxious about the future.

Hope is the opposite of dread—and a close relative of faith. When we have faith in God, it leads to hope, and our outlook on life and the future is positive.

Hope allows us to leave our unanswered questions in God’s hands; it empowers us to remain at peace, and it enables us to believe the best about the days to come.

Hope allows us to leave our unanswered questions in God’s hands; it empowers us to remain at peace, and it enables us to believe the best about the days to come. You can have hope when you trust in God’s love. He has the power to provide for you and lead you through every situation.

Regardless of who you are or what condition your life is in right now, you need hope! If circumstances are bad, you surely need hope, and if they are good, you need hope that they will stay that way.

Hope is contagious! It is one of the best gifts we can give anyone. Why not see yourself as a dispenser of hope? It is one of the things that our society today desperately needs!

Hope is an aggressive expectation that something good is about to happen to me, at any moment. Hope is about your expectations…what are you expecting?

If circumstances are bad, you surely need hope, and if they are good, you need hope that they will stay that way. When you live in the garden of hope, something is always blooming.

When you look up, hope is reborn. Even though the storm may be great, it’s not greater than God. All you have to do is look for Him and trust that He’ll do whatever it takes—even walk on water—to get to you.

Don’t lose hope. You might be hurting now, but out of every disaster, God can bring a new beginning. Believe in God, and watch Him show His glory in your life!

One of the beautiful things about life in Christ is that every day is a new beginning—a fresh start. We don’t have to regret yesterday or dread tomorrow. We can celebrate today, thankful for God’s presence in the moment.

Give yourself an attitude adjustment, find joy in everyday living, don’t dread things that must be done, learn to enjoy the everyday ordinary things in life. Don’t complain, you don’t have to act according to your feelings!

No matter how much you dread it, or don’t want to do it, or think you don’t like it…one of the greatest secrets to enjoying life is to find something to be thankful for every day!
