We Need Jesus To Sustain Us, Not Just Today, But Every Day

Are you feeling anxious today? Here are a few simple words that God wants to whisper over your soul. A reminder to be still and know.

Be still my wayward heart…Be still my passion to control everything…Be still my worrisome thoughts…Be still and know without a doubt, God is.

God is who He says He is. God is my peace and comforter. God is the answer. God is the solution. God is the every desire met. God is what I am looking for. God is what I need. God is God. Be still and know.

When life gets hard, we can either choose to lean in to God or turn away. Jesus is always with us during the storm, we simply need to rely on His strength to get us through it.

As you walk in the light of God’s love and keep Him first, excellence will become a way of life for you.

Excellence is not the same as perfection; it’s slow upward growth led by the Spirit of God. When we submit our lives to Jesus, we’re committing to follow Him. This commitment cannot be executed on our own strength, so He gives us His Spirit to help us follow Him.

God will give you everything you ever need. The gifts given to you by God are not frivolous or random, He gives you exactly what you need when you need it. Understanding and really feeling, that deep and all powerful love is cause enough for the surrender your full heart to the Lord.

​​”Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins, even those you do in secret. Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless. Your troubles will go away like water beneath a bridge, and your darkest night will be brighter than noon.” Job 11:13-20

​If you ask for peace, He will soothe your soul, if you ask for strength, He we give you a mountain to climb and if you ask for a way out of the darkness, be assured He will light your way.

We might think that we have great plans, desires, and dreams for our lives, but the truth is that God’s will is even better, above, and beyond what we could imagine or dream up for ourselves! While we can’t possibly fathom how everything will work out, we can rest in the truth that nothing is too complex for God. No detail is left unnoticed and He is always ready to receive us when we need Him most.
