Touching Moment A 𝐡𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑑 Elephant Rescued From Circus Is Welcomed By The Herd At Sanctuary For The First Time

This is the touching moment a rescued elephant is greeted by a herd in a Thai sanctuary. The 30-year-old elephant was saved from a circus and taken to Chiang Mai’s Elephant Nature Park, where she will meet her new herd for the first time. The heartfelt moment was recorded on film!

Ploy Thong, the 𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑑 elephant, began sending out mild vibrations after arriving at Elephant Nature Park, alerting everyone of her approach. These lovely giants with great hearts express their love and acceptance of a new family member.

Before being rescued by the volunteers at the Save Elephant Foundation, Ploy Thong had a very sad life. The gentle creature was forced to carry people on her back on the streets of Thailand for over 16 years. She had previously worked in a circus. But things were about to change forever after she arrived at this elephant sanctuary. Chiang Mai began sending mild vibrations out shortly after she arrived, informing the herd of her approach. But it wasn’t long before the herd raced to greet and welcome their newest member, resulting in an emotional moment.

β€œDespite the fact that she was 𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑑 in both eyes, she transported visitors every day,” stated Save Elephant Foundation employees. β€œShe was saddled early every day and carried riders until the sun went down. While the visitor rode on her back, she used her trunk to smell the path. Her path to escape, however, begins.”

This was so heartwarming that it brought tears to all the readers. Seeing the other elephants gently touch Ploy Thong as if to comfort and welcome her makes me so emotional.

What a beautiful way to begin her new adventure. The way the herd rushed to greet her demonstrates how sensitive these animals are. Chiang Mai understood she would be cherished and safeguarded for the rest of her life from the minute she arrived at the refuge.

According to an article on the Elephant Voices website, β€œElephants are well-known for their intellect, tight familial bonds, and social complexity, and can recall other individuals and locations for years.” β€œThey live in a fluid fission-fusion society, with ties extending from the mother-offspring link through families, bond groups, clans, independent men, and strangers.”

Is anyone aware if the other elephants are aware that the 𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑑 elephant has a problem? With their warm greets, they show such sympathy. I adore elephants and their unwavering commitment to one another!

They’re all so adorable. Welcoming the new member by sensing and touching him or her. Jealousy, pride, egoism, and power orientation are all emotions that people experience at times. This is how elephants experience true freedom! Elephant Nature Park is the ideal habitat for these gentle giants! Thank you very much for everything you do for these wonderful animals.
