Many people have no idea that there is a prayer prayed by Jesus for them and how they must walk in the light of that prayer.
Jesus said in John 11, “Did not I tell you? If you believe, you will see the glory of God.” You may be facing a sickness—you’re so worried, stressed out. God is saying, “Did not I tell you? I will restore health unto you. Did not I tell you? By My stripes you are healed. Did not I tell you? The number of your days I will fulfill.” Why don’t you start thanking God for what He told you instead of letting the negative thoughts play.
How many of you ever say negative things about yourself out of your own mouth? ‘Cause honestly I can tell you, that is probably the single most dangerous thing that you can do with your mouth. “I’m stupid. I never do anything right. I’m so dumb. I’m so fat. I’m so ugly. I’m this and this and that and that and something else.” No, here’s what you say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
God loves me. I have gifts, and talents, and abilities. I am creative. I have favor everywhere that I go. I have wisdom from God. I hear from God.”
The scripture says, “Peter was astonished at the amount of fish they caught.” He was amazed, bewildered. He had never seen that kind of catch. God is going to do things in your life that astonish you. Doors will open that you never dreamed would open. He’s going to put you in positions of influence and leadership like you never imagined.
God is going to give you resources, funds, opportunity like you never dreamed. His idea of overflow is not just a little more of what you have; it’s a new dimension. It’s something unprecedented, something that you’ve never fathomed.
Jesus has prayed for you too here:
My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me because of their testimony.”(John 17:9, 15, 20 The Living Bible)
Do not lose your faith for any reason. Even if God knew you wouldn’t pass some of your tests, he still loves you. Allow no failure or setback to discourage you or pull you away from God.
Some people need strengthening that God has prepared you to give them, yes, you. God wants to use you to build others up, after you have had an embarrassing failure (that God knew about before it happened). Arise and shine.
PRAYER – Dear Father, thank you for Jesus Christ who came and died for me, who prayed to strengthen my faith as I believe. I’m not going to give up, stay down, or run away from God. You have my forgiveness and I receive forgiveness from God today in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
