Those of us who love and serve God and His Son, Jesus Christ, should be the happiest people on Earth.
We should be able to enjoy everything we do, simply because we know God is present. God sent Jesus to ensure we would enjoy life. Our joy makes God happy!
Happiness is an emotion that fosters well-being, and it is contagious. One of the best ways to witness to others about Jesus is to be happy and enjoy all you do.
We spend so much time trying to make ourselves happy. If we would spend more time trying to make other people happy, then we’d be sowing good seed and God could bring a harvest back in our life.
What is sure to make us happy? Choosing contentment in the Lord, every day! Saying to God, “Lord, I only want what You want me to have,” is the only way to have real peace and lasting happiness.
Happiness can be challenging when trouble is all we see or think about. But as Joyce encourages…when we trust God and enjoy what He’s given us now, then our happiness can begin increasing!
I want to encourage you to change the way you view success and see it in terms of love. Being able to love others is the essence of success; if you can do this, you can call yourself a success in life.

“God has a good plan for my life. I will fulfill my destiny and be all I can be for His glory. I have God-given talents and abilities, and I intend to use them to help others!”
When we appreciate God, and we appreciate the things God has given us, we give Him thanks and honor Him. Appreciation is a language we need to learn, and gratitude honors God. That’s why, wherever you are today, no matter how difficult it is, ask, “Where’s the value in this, God? This is something You’ve brought to me, so how can I appreciate it?” The happiest people are the ones who can appreciate what they have right now on the way to where they’re going.
