The Closer You Walk With God The Less Room For Anything To Come Between

The closer you walk with God the less distracted you will be. Confusion turns to clarity through Gods word and in His presence. Following after the bad stuff isn’t the only problem, doing the good thing can be twice as harmful – if we lose sight of God’s dream for our lives.

Have you ever joined hands and followed the ”good stuff” instead of hearing from and walking with God?

Perhaps today, you don’t feel like you have the strength to move forward, the strength to fight the illness, the strength to raise your children. Remember, when you are weak, He is strong.

Remember, when you are weak, He is strong. I believe right now, God is breathing special strength into you. That burden that’s weighed you down is being lifted. This is a turning point. God is reenergizing you with fresh passion, fresh vision. You will run and not be weary; you will walk and not faint.

We have a lot of people doing good things in the world. I believe there are far less people doing the ‘God’ thing. Make sure you’re doing the thing that you’re called to do…. not just a good thing that has become a distraction to the God thing. Good and God can sometimes be the same thing. At other times, the good thing can be a distraction from the right thing. Make sense?

God created you in His image and loves your whole self. God’s truth brings holiness, freedom and assurance that He will be with us every step of the way. He equips us to fight back against the lies.

Today, trust God when he says who you are. Trust that you are His. Stand guard against doubt and walk in faith that God knows your path, and that before you were even born, He knew your identity, He chose you and He loved you from the very start. No matter how you feel, this truth never changes.

Let this be a season that jump-starts your prayer life. Each time you struggle with fear or uncertainty bring it to Jesus. He longs to hear your voice, to walk with you. Ask for wisdom and peace in your thoughts.

Meditate on God’s truth at every opportunity. We can depend on our all-good and all-loving God, who is constantly working in us to “to fulfill His good purpose” every step of the way (Philippians 2:13).
