Spending Time With God | Joyce Meyer Sermons

When we love someone, we want to spend time with that person. One way we express our love for God is to prioritize spending time with Him. I prefer to think of it as keeping a daily appointment with God, one that is more essential than everything else I have to do on that particular day.

We all have the same amount of time in a day, yet some individuals make time for God on a regular basis, while others never do. I have found that when we say we “don’t have time to spend with God,” it’s simply an excuse.

The truth is, if you spend time with God, He will multiply what you have left. Your spiritual life is based on spending regular time with God, just as your physical existence is depending on your vital signs.

At this moment, you are as close to God as you want to be. You will reap what you plant, so if you want a larger crop, simply sow more seed. Spend more time with God if you want a closer relationship with Him. He wants you to find more peace and joy in His presence.

What a comfort it should be knowing that God is with us, everywhere we go and He’s ready to talk with us about everything in our life. If that’s not you today, watch this and take a moment spending time with God wherever you are.

The more time we spend with God, the better. If you’re going to the grocery store, go with God. If you’re going to work, go with God. Open up your whole entire life to God. Let Him in on everything, because He cares about everything.

Make sure you’re spending time with people that inspire you and make you better.  If you’ll do this, God is going to connect you to the right people for every season.
