Instead of a valley of disappointment, you’ll look back on it as a valley of favor, a valley of blessing, and a valley where God manifested himself in your life. It’s Worth The Wait

The Bible says that patience is one of the main tools by which God develops maturity in us. No one appreciates waiting periods, but they are necessary for God to ensure that we have the character to withstand what He has in store for us on the other side. Encourage yourself by remembering that God is at work in you even when you’re waiting.

Before you see what God promised, God will send you to the waiting room. You may not like it; you don’t see anything happening. Other people are in the game, making progress, but you’re stuck waiting. The amount of time spent in the waiting area is crucial. Even if you can’t see it, something is changing; patience is paying off. Your spiritual muscles are strengthening; you’re expanding and growing. Patience is forming you, preparing you to withstand what God has brought.

Get ready; God is about to lose you from the sickness, lose you from the pain, lose you from the depression. It is His will that you be free. Now, make sure you’re in agreement. “Lord, I recognize that this sickness did not come from You. You give good things to Your children. I know You want to heal me. Lord, thank You that healing is coming, freedom is coming, victory is coming.”
