What are you worried about? Do you believe God will take care of you, do what you can’t do, and work every situation out for good? Then give yourself permission to stop worrying. Make your trust in Him more powerful than your worries!
There is no time like the present to begin learning a new way to live—less worrying, more trusting. This is the time to begin thinking and saying, “I trust God completely; there is no need to worry!”
God cares for us; He will solve our problems and meet our needs, and thankfully, we can stop thinking and worrying about them. I realize this is easier said than done, but there is no time like the present to begin learning a new way to live—a way of living that is without worry, anxiety, and fear.
After all the time I wasted worrying, I did learn one lesson: worry is totally useless and does nothing to change our situations, but it does damage our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health.
I have found that the more thankful I am, the more peaceful I am. Gratitude helps me focus on what I have instead of what I don’t have, allowing me to stay focused on my blessings instead of worrying.
Every time you start to worry, ask God for help. Cast all your cares on Him because worry doesn’t solve anything, but God works wonders when we pray.
Prayer started: Dear God, I pray to you this very moment because I am struggling greatly. Upon my mind is great fear and anxiety as I worry about the future ahead of me.
Lord, I pray to You for guidance in putting my trust in You. Once I put trust in You completely, I will not fear because I know everything will be in Your almighty hands.
I pray that I can learn to trust in You and Your plan for me.
I know that You are all knowledgable and that no matter what happens, You will be with me every step of the way.
I pray that I find peace in Your guidance and Your presence and an ease of mind as I focus on the plan that You have already created for me instead of my own because Your plan is always greater.
I pray that no matter what I will endure in my future, that I will always turn to You for both guidance and thanks.
God, thank You for directing the way for me.
