Pray and Say God’s Word

We must accept the fact that fear is a human emotion—we all experience it to some degree, but we also know we can live boldly and courageously because God has told us He is always with us. And because of that, we can choose to not live according to the fear we feel.

God taught me to use what I call the “power twins” to help me defeat the spirit of fear. They are “I pray” and “I say.” When I feel fear, I begin to pray and ask for God’s help, then I say, “I will not fear!” You can prevent fear from ruling you if you use these power twins as soon as you feel afraid about anything. The emotion of dread can be controlled; we don’t have to let it control us.

When we love people, we want to communicate with them. We want to share our thoughts and feelings, and hear their thoughts and feelings in return. In terms of a relationship with God, this communication is called prayer.

I suspect many people pray much more than they know and that they have more effective and successful prayer lives than they realize. They do not always recognize when they are praying because they have been taught that prayer requires a certain environment or form. But prayer is simply talking to God and listening to what He has to say.

The truth is that we can pray anytime, anywhere—even just directing a thought toward God qualifies as silent prayer. Short, simple prayers can be mighty beyond description, but that does not take away from the fact that prayer is also a grand mystery.

I believe that the greatest mystery of prayer is that it joins the hearts of people on earth with the heart of God in heaven; this is part of what loving God and receiving His love for us is all about. The only species in the known world that can touch both the natural and spiritual realms are us humans. When we pray, we make a connection with the spiritual world and with the loving God who longs to communicate with us.

Every time you release an area of your life to Him, every time you choose to follow God’s Word over the temptations of the world, you are experiencing true, everlasting freedom.

God’s not limited by what’s happening around you; He’s only limited by what’s happening in you. Open your heart and choose an attitude of faith and expectancy today.

Remember, there is a due season in your future. There’s a designated time of blessing for you. You will get what you need to go on, and you will see the promises come to pass. Don’t become weary. Don’t lose consciousness. Stay focused on His Word and see the favor, strength, restoration and blessing God has for you as long as you don’t faint!

You are loved, you are precious in God’s eyes. You are His Beloved.  You belong on this Earth.  If you are breathing now. God has a purpose for your life now. There is Hope and Love which can only be found in Jesus.

God has a purpose for you now. He sees, knows and understands the pain from your past. God doesn’t see your scars from your past, whether you made mistakes or decisions where made for you. What God sees is your Beauty. He sees you as fearfully and wonderfully made. He sees His Child made out of His own image.
