Although we all have weaknesses, we can still be blessed by God. God is not surprised by your inabilities, your imperfections, or your faults. He has always known everything about you, things you are just now finding out, and He chose you on purpose for Himself.
Jacob was a man who had many weaknesses, and yet he pressed on with God and was determined to be blessed by Him (see Genesis 32). God likes that kind of determination. God is glorified through those who will not let their personal weaknesses stop Him from working through them.
For God to work through us, we must first come face-to-face with the fact that we have weaknesses, and then we must determine not to let them bother us.
God is not surprised by your inabilities, your imperfections, or your faults. He has always known everything about you, things you are just now finding out, and He chose you on purpose for Himself.
Our imperfections are not going to stop God unless we let them do so. You might be weak in yourself, but you can be strong in Jesus.
God doesn’t expect us to be perfect; He expects us to keep our eyes on Jesus because He is the author and finisher of our faith.
People may let you down, but God will never let you down! Keep your eyes on Him and don’t let the imperfections in others cause you to shrink back from your God-given destiny!
