“If anybody obeys His word, God’s love is truly made complete in Him. This is how we know we are in Him: Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:5-6
It’s extremely important that we obey God first, even if those around us aren’t always happy. This world is not our home—we’re just passing through.
God instructs us to practice forgiveness, and when we choose to follow the path of forgiveness, we will experience the peace and joy that come through obeying God’s Word.
Always choose God, and strive to keep a clear conscience with Him and others. As you obey Him and let Him guide you with His peace, you’ll end up doing now what you’ll be happy with later on in life!
There are times in our walk with God, where we might choose to only do a part of what He asks us to instead of fully obeying Him. If we want to fulfill our destiny we must choose full obedience to God!
Obedience is the most important thing to God! Everything God asks us to do is for our benefit so we should quickly and promptly obey Him.
Remember, God loves you so much today. He wants to restore you. He wants to restore your family. He has a great future planned for you.
Stand in faith, keep believing, and keep praying because there’s nothing too difficult for Him. Even If you don’t feel like it, take a step of faith; God sees your obedience to Him. He’ll honor you because you’ve honored His Word.
Prayer Starter: Father, please give me the grace I need to obey You, especially when that might make someone close to me unhappy. Thank You for having my back, and for the peace that You give me every day. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
