My God Is An Awesome GOD

“Who is God? He’s your Provider, your Healer, your Strength, your Wisdom and your Peace. He’s the one who provides grace, forgiveness, mercy, a hiding place, and a refuge in the storm.

God provides strength to do everything we need to do. He’s amazing, He’s the God of all hope—He’s our salvation!”

As believers, we have to have a made-up mind. If we want to see God working in our lives, we can’t go back and forth on what we believe.

God wants us to be stable in Him and secure in His love for us. Sometimes, we have to choose to believe His Word even when we don’t feel it. You don’t have to make decisions based on your feelings; you can make decisions based on the Word of God.

Always remember, God loves you even when the pressures of life make it difficult to feel that love. Life will try to put a spirit of heaviness on you. Circumstances will try to bring you down, but God wants to take you up higher.

God wants to do things in your life that no man can do. He wants to bless you, promote you, prosper you and encourage you. But, it all starts when you come into agreement with Him. You have to get up every morning and say, “God, I know You are for me; You’re not against me.” You have to have a made-up mind.

Today, no matter what you are facing, choose to believe God’s Word. Know that He loves you and wants the best for you. He is working in your life and taking you one step at a time.

Let His love build confidence and security in you because He is faithful, and He will finish the work that He started in you!

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (James 1:6-8, NIV)

People may come and go from your life, but God will never leave you. He is always with you. He is faithful and He sticks closer than a brother. Find rest and comfort, knowing that He is on your side.

God doesn’t want us to go through life weighted down and overwhelmed. Scripture says His yoke is easy and His burden is light. In other words, His plan is easier than trying to figure things out on your own. Trust Him because He will direct your steps.
