Jesus says in John 15:5 that apart from Him, we can do nothing. He wants to be involved in every area of our lives, and He is eager to help us in every circumstance. He has every answer we need—even answers we could never think of on our own—and He will give it to us if we ask Him for it.
Today, whether you are facing a significant, weighty situation or something more minor, if you don’t know what to do, my advice is the same: Tell God you don’t know what to do, but that you will keep your eyes on Him because you know He does have the answer and will guide you
Dear God, thank You for Your grace that sustains us and never runs out.
As we start a new day, make us breathe in the extraordinary victory of Your life.
Fill us with Your divine power. Protect us from evil’s snare.
Mercifully pardon our sinful nature, lead us not into temptation and let Your will be done.
Heavenly Father, thank You for making all things new! As another new day begins, help us live each day for You.
May we continually have a new song in our heart to sing to You, no matter what comes our way.
We trust in You because we know that Your mercies are new every morning, and nothing ahead of us will take You by surprise.
Today, help us bring our weaknesses to You so that Your power might shine in us.
