This is your time. This is your moment. God is preparing you right now because He is about to release a special grace to help you accomplish your dream.
What a powerful picture of God’s desire for you! God doesn’t want you to just barely get by in life. He wants you to benefit from His wealth and lead a victorious life. He wants you to keep becoming better. He desires for your marriage to be blissful. He wants you to find work enjoyable. He wants you to keep reaching higher and higher levels. Make space for growth. Enlarge your tents. He’s saying expect more favor, more supernatural blessings. Don’t become satisfied with where you are.
There is something God has put on you that will help you accomplish what you couldn’t accomplish on your own. It will cause you to stand out in the crowd and give you breaks that you didn’t deserve. It’s called His favor.
Sometimes we go through things we just don’t understand. Through it all, we must learn to keep our faith and trust that God is in control, even when life is not going the way we planned or hoped.
Look inside today and say, “God, how can I change? How can I be more loving, patient, forgiving and understanding?” Ask how you can come up higher. Don’t pray for God to change somebody else without first praying: God, change me.
We serve a big God with big plans for your future. Because your goals were too limited, perhaps some things didn’t turn out the way you expected. Perhaps it’s time to push yourself even harder and develop a more expansive perspective on your life.
If you’re not sure how to do that, start by asking God to increase your thinking. Ask Him to increase your capacity to receive from Him. Ask Him to enlarge your tent stakes. Continue to meditate on His Word and spend time in His presence, then watch what He will do as you stretch and grow in Him.
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy in my life. Thank You for believing in me, for giving me a hope and a future. Today I choose to stretch; I choose increase; I choose to rise up higher so that I can be all You’ve created me to be in Jesus’ name. Amen.
