I’m a Friend of God

The Scripture says that “God talked to Moses as a man talks to a friend.” I believe this is a beautiful picture of God’s heart. He’s saying to all of us, “I want to talk to you like your friend talks to you.”

One of the biggest keys to effective prayer is approaching God as a friend, because that is who you are.

When we go to God believing that He sees us as His friends, countless new wonders are opened to us. We experience real freedom and boldness, which are both priceless gifts to be grateful for.

If we do not know God as a friend, we’ll be hesitant, not bold, in asking for what we need. But if we go to Him as our friend—without losing our awe of Him—our prayers will stay fresh, exciting, and intimate.

A friendship is about loving and being loved. It means knowing that God is on your side, wanting to help you, cheering you on, and always working things together for your good.

Today, know that God loves you deeply and wants your friendship more than anything.

At your very lowest point, God still loves you… God never changes and He is always there for you.

Everything that has anything to do with peace, or joy, or being successful in life is ALL based on the foundation of knowing who you are in Christ, that HE LOVES YOU!

​God loves you because He loves you.He does not love you based on your performance in the world. There is nothing you can do to make God love you any more than He already does and there is nothing that will cause God to love you any less. He loves you, even more than you love yourself and guides you how to live from that center of love.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us…” (1 John 4:9,10)

What we make happen for someone else, God will make happen for us. Do you sometimes find yourself wishing you had more encouragement, maybe from your family or your friends or your boss? But how often do you encourage others? If you’re not sure, then make an extra effort right away. You can be the channel that God uses to keep someone confidently pressing toward success rather than giving up.

​​God fills our hearts with love and takes away our troubles and to know Him is a true blessing, through His love you are blessed to bless others and have Him work through you. God wants your obedience, remove “self” from the equation and change your mindset. You can change the way we used to do thing and bring glory to him.
