I Need God Every Single Second Of My Life

We need God, We need God’s word. We need His word dwelling richly in us, because His Word is life and truth, and part of the truth is that we have so much to be thankful for, and we have so much to rejoice over.

We need God on the mountain top just as much as we need God in the valley. I need God in every single moment of my life!

Hebrews 11:6 says, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” God rewards your faith through prayer. He delights to see you seek Him, and you’re not alone in meeting Him—He shows up, too. Remember that when you come to pray, and don’t be afraid to ask boldly, consistently, fervently.

God wants to show up in your life. Like the loving Father that He is, God sees you where you are and cares for you when you need it most. Turning to Him, instead of just ourselves, in our moment of need is the best position we could be in.

It shows Him we trust Him, it shows Him we believe in who He says He is and produces faith. And faith pleases God. Faith activates His wisdom and sovereignty into our circumstances.

Pressing forward isn’t always easy. But if everything were easy all the time, we wouldn’t need God. The challenges in life draw us closer to Him so we can know Him better and experience His goodness.

People can’t always give us everything we need. Look to God and let Him fill you up. He is your unlimited source ready to supply all of your needs!

Scripture says in Psalm 46:1, “God is a very present help in time of need.” In the difficult times, if you’ll get quiet and listen down in your spirit, you’ll feel that peace that passes understanding. There’s grace for every season.

When we come to the end of what we can do, that’s when God steps in.

If you can accomplish your dreams on your own, you don’t need God. If you can get out of the problem by yourself, it doesn’t take much faith. Don’t be discouraged when what you’re up against is too big: you don’t have the resources, the opposition is stronger.

You’re in the perfect position for God to show out in your life. When you come to the end of your ability—when you run out of options and it looks like a setback—it’s really a setup. God’s about to do something unusual, something you couldn’t make happen.

Prayer today: Dear GOD, I need you. Everyday, every moment, every second that I breathe, I need you. I am not strong enough on my own. AMEN!
