Having Fun with the Sun

Taking the ideal photo of the sun has become a fad in and of itself since the introduction of social media sites like Instagram. Whether it be a breathtaking sunset or a landscape that has been kissed by the light, photographers from all over the world are always looking for that special moment when the sun’s rays produce a picture-perfect sight.

A creative photographer from India has captured a series of impressive pictures using the sun as his canvas. Sulabh Lamba, 21, from Rewari, India, snapped the incredible photos while the sun was setting in Goliaka, Haryana.

Outdoor activities such as beach volleyball, sunbathing, and picnics are all popular choices when the sun is shining brightly. The sun’s warm embrace invites people to gather outdoors, creating memories and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

From carrying it on his back to leaping over it, Lamba uses clever perspective and digital editing to make it look as though the burning sun is an object we can hold in our hands. Lamba frequently asks his brothers and friends to model for the pictures. In one image, a man kicks the sun to the other, while in another, a man gives his friend a flower that is shaped like the sun and is shining. Whatever the setting, Lamba always manages to capture endearing moments of companionship, exploration, and occasionally even mischief.
