Great White Shark Jumps 15 Feet Through The Air As The Highest Ever Water Breach Is Recorded In South Africa

Since the release of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws, many people have viewed sharks, along with bears, gorillas, and rhinos, as one of the few creatures that are simply badass.

Sharks have just gotten even more amazing (yes, even more ridiculously awesome than the concept of a tornado full of sharks). A great shark was recently seen rising from the ocean and taking a deep breath—15 feet deep, to be exact.

The highest breach ever recorded was made by a great white shark leaping 15 feet into the air.

As a result, a great white shark, one of the world’s largest sharks, was observed rising from the water and leaping into the air. This wasn’t your typical leap, as it managed to get 15 feet (4.57 meters) over the sea.

‘They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, that picture is worth a thousand breaches,’ said Fallows. ‘I can’t believe how high it came out, it was just perfect … a photo you dream of.’

‘This has to be the ultimate air jaws breach,’ Fallows added.

In the most recent episode of Air Jaws, researchers used several ways to follow sharks and film breaches. One utilized a drone to catch a breach at night, while Fallows employed a custom-built tow camera.

And Fallows was in luck, as he stumbled upon a great white shark who soon became a record-breaking breacher and is now going viral. He and his team were out patrolling the waters with some meaty bait tied to their boat to encourage a shark to make its move. After several tries, Fallows found the shark he was looking for.

It was said that this particular jump was the highest ever jump made by a shark in the history of Air Jaws. “Whoa! That was unbelievable, do you see that shark!?” exclaimed Fallows as soon as the shark took off.

This is how he got his world-record-breaking shot, which happened to be on the 20th anniversary of the Air Jaws series. Fallows and his colleague were the first to notice great white sharks breaching, which was later popularized by the Air Jaws program. What are your thoughts on this?
