God loves you because He loves you. He does not love you based on your performance in the world. There is nothing you can do to make God love you any more than He already does and there is nothing that will cause God to love you any less. He loves you, even more than you love yourself and guides you how to live from that center of love.
“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us…” (1 John 4:9,10)
The love that God has for you is eternal and all encompassing. The perfect love that God is, is actually directed toward you, right here and right now.
You participate in the eternal love of God by faith, It is simply a matter of saying yes to God’s desire to know you and you experience His love in relationship to your faith.
In giving your life to Christ, you have found total love and acceptance. That may be a little difficult to comprehend at first, if you have never felt totally loved and accepted by anyone. But it is true, and through His love God will teach you a new way of being.
Of course there will be times when you find yourself doubting His love, it is human to do so, but if you surrender, His love will be there exactly as it was before you doubted it, for His love for you never changes.
God is love. When we extended love to others in turn we’re giving them an experience of the nature of God. And often times it’s those who are the hardest to love that need it the most. Show love, show Christ.
Faith in God’s love allows us to view every situation through a different lens and gives us a new perspective.
Our perspective is the frame from which we view life. What happens to our perspective if like Jesus, we receive God’s love and place that love as our guiding principle through life?!
Faith based in God’s love illuminating your way forward. You can choose love as your guide in all things and choices and when you do, God is given the chance He needs to transform your life and to work through you as a force of love in the lives of those around you. The only way you can love unconditionally is through Jesus.
