Faith In God Includes Faith In His Timing

Understanding God’s timing in my life has been one of my biggest lessons in faith.

At times, life is not easy and when we are challenged by the world or our inner self, it can feel like a battle to keep surrendering our life to Him.

Confidence is holding on to a strong faith in God, a faith that is backed up with complete knowledge and understanding that with God’s help you can do anything.

How many times have you taken up the reins in your own life, only to be met with a reminder that your way isn’t the answer? It is almost funny for me to reflect on the stress I caused myself trying to force my idea onto God’s greater plan.

God never promised that life would be fair, but He did promise that if you will stay in faith, He will take what’s meant for your harm and use it to your advantage. Nothing that’s happened to you is a surprise to God.

Learning to trust God, to have faith in God’s timing in your life can be one of the most freeing and peaceful lessons you can learn. The key to this lesson is learning to appreciate how this challenge or perceived delay gave to your character?

Sometimes, God proves His love to us by what He’s not letting us have. It doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. We just have to spend a little more time in the waiting room: growing, developing, getting experience, learning to trust Him, learning to forgive, learning to be good to those that have wronged us, being mature enough to wait with a good attitude. The sooner we pass these tests, the sooner God will release the things that belong to us.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:14.

No matter how aggravated you get, you’re not going to rush God. So whatever it is that you’re waiting on right now, you might as well learn to wait well.

God has a plan for you, and just remember sometimes He needs to get you ready for that plan. How has God made your heart stronger recently?

It may look impossible, but God can do the impossible. Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean God is not working.

We all hope for a detailed plan and path for our lives but God doesn’t always work that way. Luckily though, He is with us every step of the way!

“God, I choose to put my faith in You, knowing that it will lead to hope. I don’t have to dread, because You have the ability to care for me, so I put my hope in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
