TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Too often, we’re trying to convince people to be our friends, convince them to spend time with us. If someone doesn’t see the gift that you are, if they don’t recognize your talents and value your friendship, do yourself a favor and move on. No offense, but they’re not a part of your destiny
TODAY’S WORD: God will never ask you to do something without giving you the ability to do it. You may get passive or complacent and think, “Yes, I know I need to do that. Maybe next week.” So, next week becomes next month. The month after that becomes the year after that. We miss out on the grace season when we put off what God has ordered us to do. However, if you deal with problems as soon as God brings them to your attention, you’ll get tremendous grace and empowerment. You’ll sense God’s enabling force assisting you.
God is about to take you higher. Things that have held you back are being broken. New doors are about to open, giants are about to be defeated, talent is about to come out of you that you didn’t know you had. You’re coming into a season of special favor. You always have favorites, but there are moments where that favor will show out. You’re going to see an opportune time, where God is going to thrust you ahead.
Today, is there something you’re putting off? Something you know in your heart that you are supposed to do?
Enjoy where you are on the way to where you’re going. Life is a journey. After you accomplish this goal, there will be another challenge, another mountain to climb, another set of burdens to deal with. Don’t get so caught up in where you’re going that you miss the beauty of this moment. Enjoy the season that you’re in.
Don’t let the grace season pass you by. Get rid of your complacency. Your fate is in your hands. God has something wonderful planned for you. Be brave and powerful. Step forth in confidence, obey, and rejoice in the blessings that God has in store for you!
Sometimes with all the busyness of life, with all the people, the activities, we don’t have time for God. When He hides you, when He takes you to a season of silence where you don’t have all those distractions, that’s Him wanting you to get closer.
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the grace to do exactly what You’ve called me to do. I choose to step out in faith; I choose to follow Your commands. Because I know You are loyal, I choose to be faithful. In Jesus’ name, I love you and bless you today and always. Amen.
